Purl & Ply Trunk Show and A Big First!
We have something exciting to talk about today! Like…seriously exciting. This past weekend (June 22-24) the McKinney Knittery hosted a trunk show for Purl & Ply. Purl & Ply is a small indie dyeing business ran by Brittani and Melody. They live in and dye their yarns in Amarillo, Texas. And their yarns and the colors they have created are FABULOUS! And Brittani and Melody are wonderful. I had the chance to meet them and…well we'll get to the other part in a second. They have a great eye for colors. Their current collection Vintage Romance has this soft and (I am about to slightly repeat myself.) romantic feel to it. There are speckles and soft pinks and olive greens. And not only is there the main collection, but they also have a great selection of other colors that fit in with them. And special for this trunk show they created a colorway called Summer Solstice. It's really vibrant with pinks and purples and hints of orange. So…the
